Crystals in the Workplace

I work in a very hectic office.
Our team is a mix of administrative, sales and technical people.

Some days, the office is like a battlefield.  We can get bombarded with angry technical support calls.
It's hard on everyone.

Sometimes customers can lose control when their computers break, and the things they say can be pretty vile.  Not too long ago, I was told by one who had lost his cool, that I should "slit my wrists and die in the corner."  That was a tough conversation that produced some really toxic energy that day. I am certain that it was, in big part, the crystals in that space, that helped to dispel the effects of the hatred that spewed from that man's mouth that day.

I have used crystals for years in my office to clear out these negative energies, and help to usher in new, positive experiences.  I have a stone in almost every space there, each placed in a particular place, for a specific purpose.

I regularly use Reiki to clear all of the stones that live there, as well as the entire office space.

Here's a virtual tour of the crystals I use for balancing the energy in my work space...

A large piece of raw citrine lives at the front desk. Everyone and everything that enters the office passes by this beautiful crystal.  I use it to attract abundance and wealth.

On or around almost every computer monitor on everyone's desk, there's a fluorite crystal. It's a soothing and protective stone, that I use to guard against the electromagnetic emanations from the computers, as well as for to help my employees absorb new ideas.

I use a smokey quartz in the tech support room.  I feel like it helps to absorb some of the negative energy that comes into that space, taking the emotionally draining stuff off of the people there.

I use tigers eye in the sales offices for helping us to achieve our goals and to bring the strength and motivation needed to succeed.

A beautiful green aventurine supports the energy in the executive office.  The aventurine helps to inspire good leadership qualities, and calm some of the intense pressure associated with operating the business.  I believe it helps me persevere at difficult times. Holding it in my hand for a while when the stress in the office is high, can calm me down and help me discover new approaches to solving problems.

There's one crystal I don't have yet, that I wish I did... A large quartz cluster.  I'm waiting for us to find each other.

While citrine, fluorite, smokey quartz, tiger's eye and green aventurine are always found in my office, on occasion, I bring in other stones for specific reasons.

Right now, I have a piece of Poppy Jasper on my desk.  I brought this stone in for some extra grounding I felt like I needed. Sometimes, I can start to get that feeling that I'm flying by the seat of my pants - poppy jasper helps bring me back down to earth, and into a more grounded frame of mind, from which some of my best work comes.

I also often address employee concerns with particular stones. When I see someone struggling with grasping new information for example, I will usually place an extra piece of fluorite on their desk, or another crystal that I feel guided to use.  I tell them what I'm doing and no one has ever objected. I've even had employees that have specifically requested that I provide them a special crystal to address particular concerns.

I can see where it'd be really easy for my employees to think I was a total nut job of a boss, and I'm honestly surprised sometimes at how well they do receive it.  I'm pretty sure though, that it's because they all know it works.  There's no doubt, crystal therapy has made my company more successful.
