I'd like to preface all of this with the fact that my mother is one of my most favorite people on earth. I cherish her like I do my two boys. She is my Mummy and I love everything about being her daughter! With that being said...
When I was a little girl, my mom used to yell at me if I was caught twirling my hair around my fingers...
She would always chastise me with, "DON'T TWIRL YOUR HAIR!! ONLY CRAZY PEOPLE DO THAT!"
Today, it makes me crack up thinking about it. It's really just hysterical and silly. I mean, what about twirling your hair exactly, is "crazy" and how is it that my mom knew all of this? Wondering makes me smile. :)
Was my mother worried I'd end up crazy? Well, if that was the case, her nightmares have come true! lol. Because I would consider myself a tad nutty. And yes, I still twirl my hair. So, I guess it's official. :)
It's one of the reasons why I've reclaimed that word - CRAZY!
I decided to recycle it, and instead use those five letters to describe my adventurous and happy life, which I'm usually saying is crazy good!
